I’m all in for strength, I guess I love the challenge of it. I had to take a break from HIIT training so doing more strength felt really good and I am happy to have made the switch… even though there are days when I’m reluctant to press play 🤣

This program is designed for any woman who wants to get consistent with strength training and is not sure where to start and wants a specific program to follow that is safe, efficient and effective. It's also a great program for anyone who wants a lower impact strength program. These workouts are self paced. You’ll receive a video demonstration along with a PDF and a workout tracker so you can track your progress from week to week. If you need to work at a slower pace or increase your rest time…this program allows you to do that. It also allows for customization for those who are ready to advance in the program based on fitness level.
The closed group is hosted on Facebook and it is a great way to get access to your questions on form or modifications you might need. It's also a great way to connect with other members of the community and women participating in this program!
If you have been cleared by your doctor or your PT for regular exercise then yes this is a great starting point. Part of the benefit of this program is you get a lot of guidance on how to coach yourself and know when its time to advance or scale back a movement. In this way you can customize these workouts to just about any level.
This is a dumbbell based program so you will need weights to do the program.
I get asked a lot what size...so to start 2 sets...one medium and one heavy 'for you'. You don't need a full gym for this program...if you find that the weights you have aren't going to work once you start the program...you can always get what you need pretty quickly at a big box retailer. Most of them carry weights. Facebook Marketplace also has some good deals.
I occasionally incorporate a sturdy chair or coffee table if you need/want to use but its not a requirement for the program.
This 6 program is a hybrid of written PDF (print and go or just view on your computer tablet or phone with a clickable link to video demonstration. Every workout has a unique short form video tutorial with pointers on form and execution so you can be sure you are doing the exercises properly for maximum effectiveness.

If your goal is to see improvements in your physique and strength, I encourage you to follow a systematic approach which is what I have laid out in this program. Doing random workouts is tempting, but it's not the best way to progress. While there is benefit to getting your heart rate up and getting a good sweat, it's not the best strategy for building lean muscle. To make this easy for you I’ve included a schedule to follow so you never have to wonder what to do and when!
I get it. Apps offer convenience but they aren't the best for actual coaching where you get direct access to the trainer. This is a point which I set myself apart in that you get quality instruction from a seasoned trainer with experience training actual people in the gym Unfortunately this is not always the case with the app based programs as far as 'real world' experience on the part of the trainer presenting the workout. That said throughout my programs I offer coaching calls and access to me via the community for your questions and concerns.
Consistency really is key to seeing results in any fitness program. Workouts are 20-40 minutes 4 times per week so the time commitment is minimal. and many of these workouts I offer you the option to shorten them especially for those days when you were pressed on time.…. That said: if the issue is a vacation or business trip...or you get sick for a few days you can jump back in.
Keep in mind the core workouts are all bodyweight based so you’ll have something you can do in a pinch as well!!
STRONGER U is different in that its not follow along workouts for the entire duration of the workout. (If thats what you'd prefer you can reach out to me and check out my other programs). STRONGER U serves as a 6 week program that can be customized to just about any level. there is no impact and it is just strength so unlike my other programs, there are no met-cons or HIIT training in this program. Keep in mind you can always do this program and do your own HIIT as an add on if thats something you want to fit in to your week!
