I’m all in for strength, I guess I love the challenge of it. I had to take a break from HIIT training so doing more strength felt really good and I am happy to have made the switch… even though there are days when I’m reluctant to press play 🤣
Generally, I feel like I’m working out with my own trainer; you make me laugh with your stories and you are REAL about the whole process. Do I wish I had arms like yours? YES! Is that realistic? NO! So happy to have found you on Insta: I was following along with another lady on Insta - and I could keep up…but she’s very HIIT heavy and her demographic audience is much younger than me. With you, I feel stronger and meeting personal goals…with a person my age! 🫶

This challenge is designed for any woman who wants to start getting consistent with strength training and is not sure where to start and wants a specific program to follow that is safe, efficient and effective. It's also a great program for anyone who wants a lower impact strength program. If you are coming back from an injury or a lengthy hiatus from this sort of training, this program will be a great fit for you.
The closed group is hosted right inside the app that the challenge will be programmed in! It is a great way to get access to your questions on form or modifications you might need. It's also a great way to connect with other members of the community and women participating in this program! So Facebook is NOT required.
If you have been cleared by your doctor or your PT for regular exercise then yes this is a great starting point. Part of the benefit of this program is you get a lot of guidance on how to coach yourself and know when its time to advance or scale back a movement. In this way you can customize these workouts to just about any level.
This is a dumbbell based program so you will need weights to do the program.
I get asked a lot what size...so to start 2 sets...one medium and one heavy 'for you'. You don't need a full gym for this program...if you find that the weights you have aren't going to work once you start the program...you can always get what you need pretty quickly at a big box retailer. Most of them carry weights. Facebook Marketplace also has some good deals.
I occasionally incorporate a sturdy chair or coffee table if you need/want to use but its not a requirement for the program.
The challenge begins on Monday March 11 th, you can start that day or hope into the challenge any day that week. But your access to the challenge and the workouts in the challenge are only for the week of the challenge. If you start the challenge late, you wont maintain access beyond the end of the final date of the challenge.
The challenge is FREE therefore you will only retain access to the challenge should you decide to continue working with me. Otherwise your access to these free workouts, are only for this 7 day period.
The workouts for the challenge are offered to give you a taste of the type of training I offer, which is why we'll be doing strength based workouts along with core workouts and even some Metabolic Conditioning. While you are free to pick and choose the workouts that suit your preferences, to get the most from the challenge I encourage you to complete all the workouts in the order they are programmed.
Workouts are 25-30 minutes so the time commitment is minimal.
There are 5 workouts total in the challenge and you'll have 7 days to complete them.
They are programmed such that you will be not be working the same muscle groups each day. In other words you'll work upper body one day, lower body the next, etc.
You'll be invited to join my next Strength Training Program: Straight Up Strength 5.0! Or of course I have a whole library of workouts that you could continue to choose from to continue on with your strength training programming!
